At Umami Flavours Private Limited (“Umami”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we strive to provide the freshest meat, seafood, poultry, and related products with utmost quality. Since our products are perishable, our cancellation and refund policy is designed to ensure fairness and transparency.
1. Order Cancellation
Before Processing: Orders may be cancelled within 10 minutes of placing the order, provided the order has not been processed or dispatched.
After Processing: Once an order is confirmed and being prepared/packed, it cannot be cancelled.
Umami reserves the right to cancel an order in case of:
Unavailability of products.
Incorrect or incomplete delivery details.
Suspected fraudulent activity.
In such cases, the full amount will be refunded.
2. Refunds
Refunds are applicable only under the following circumstances:
Wrong item delivered.
Damaged or spoiled product at the time of delivery.
Failed delivery due to our service issues.
Refund Process:
Customers must report the issue to our support team within 2 hours of delivery, along with clear photos of the product.
After verification, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 working days.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
Change of mind or taste preference.
Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.
Failure to collect the order upon delivery attempt.
Complaints raised after the 2-hour reporting window.
4. Mode of Refund
Refunds (if approved) will be credited only through the original payment method (UPI, debit/credit card, wallet, net banking, etc.).
Cash-on-Delivery (COD) refunds will be processed to the customer’s provided bank account details.
